Featuring an Overheat Protection System (OPS) that shuts the unit off if it overheats due to abnormal conditions, this DAYTON electric oil filled heater comes with a pilot light that glows when the unit is plugged in and turned on. Pilot light will continue to glow even if the thermostat has cycled the heating element off so that you’re aware that the heater is still operating and maintaining the temperature. This heater is designed to add supplemental heat to a room after a few minutes of operation. Model requires no ductwork and is easy to install.
